We have developed twenty terrace houses (one and two bedroom) for mid market rental. These properties belong to the Group and are our first in a number of developments dedicated to providing more affordable homes to those on modest incomes.
The development will consist of two blocks of ten units. Each made up of six Alder style homes (two bedroom) and four Rowan style homes (one bedroom).
These properties have been designed to be economical to run with good insulation and climate control. Each property will come with a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Gas combi boiler.
All the properties come pre-fitted with digital and satellite (subscriptions may be required) television connections in the lounge and bedrooms.
Window dressings and flooring have been included throughout. The open plan living rooms/kitchens are fitted with easy to clean tile effect flooring and the upper floor, stairs and bedrooms are carpeted.
The kitchens are fitted with Maple effect units and granite effect worktops including under counter and wall mounted units from the JTC Cosmopolitan Range. The kitchens come complete with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and fitted cooker hood.
The bathroom comes complete with a white three piece suite which includes a shower over the bath.
The Rowan (One Bedroom Houses)
These well designed mid terrace one bedroom homes are suitable for individuals or couples. It boasts a number of great features including walk-in wardrobe and study.
The Alder (Two Bedroom Houses)
The Alder comes in both end and mid terrace types. These compact two bedroom properties are ideal for small families or couples/individuals needing the extra room.
The ground floor consists of an open plan living room/kitchen, WC and under stairs storage cupboard. The upper floor includes a family bathroom with a three piece suite which includes a shower over the bath. The master bedroom comes with fitted wardrobes.
Westhill is situated 7 miles west of Aberdeen City. It has grown significantly since it’s founding in 1963. What originally was a Garden Suburb has flourished into one of the areas most sought after locations. Boasting severally primary schools, a secondary school and various nurseries.
The town is also renowned for its business and enterprise parks which have attracted local and international businesses to locate there. This includes the Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership Group which has its headquarters in Westhill at the Arnhall Business Park.
There are numerous leisure facilities in the town too including a selection of restaurants and cafes, sporting facilities and a good selection of local and national shops.
Westhill is served by numerous bus routes and the Park and Ride for Aberdeen is located nearby at Kingswells. With the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route’s first stage due to open this summer, Westhill will be better linked than ever for intercity travel.
